Slated for release this week, the very rare (only 200 were made in real life), Mazda Spirit Racing Roadster 12R ND MX5 will be added to the latest Gran Tourismo update.
The MX5 12R specifications are impressive with a 16hp increase to 197hp (147kW) from the 2.0L Skyactive-G 4-cylinder NA engine. 0-100 km/h in 6.1 seconds via the six-speed manual.
The suspension uses height adjustable Bilstein dampners with custom tuning and the brakes have been uprated to Brembo four-piston callipers (front).
Unusually, the Gran Tourismo 7 update will also feature the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 for a truly ‘retro’ off-road experience.
